Before Beyonce’s fully-reflective “ICY PARK”and Bad Bunny’s buckled efforts, the adidas Forum has extensions well within traditional material and design constraints in this new decade. But now as the silhouette reaches the maturity phase of its popularity cycle, the Three Stripes looks to experiment with the Forum further, delivering a brand-new deconstructed twist on the low-cut design.
Most noticeably, the quarter and mid-panel are wrapped in a semi-translucent ripstop sheath, encasing an raf of white and cream leather. Suede eyestays, toe, and heel overlays add weight to the inside-out aesthetic, as do both the neoprene tongues and exposed-foam eyestay trim. Completing the design is a simple white midsole and a milky-cream outsole underfoot.
Though a release date for this deconstructed adidas Forum Low has not yet been set for the Sates, pairs are already becoming available in select phone markets as we speak — so expect to learn more soon.
