Perforations at the profiles further nod to the crazy's origins as a performance model, while 3-Stripes and trefoil logos on the lateral side champion Adidas heritage. The bottom-half, however, breathes new life onto the 41-year-old basketball shoe.

Herringbone-patterned traction is segmented into two sections beneath the forefoot and hind-foot, leaving a gap in the center. The latter area is lifted in the same way a traditional men's dress shoe is. The front part of the experimental sole unit dons a square finish complemented by two golden octagon shapes at both corners of the toe. The detail rounds out an unconventional style reminiscent of Martine Rose's divisive Nike Shox projects.
