Adidas had a strong showing at last weekend's Tokyo Marathon, with its sponsored athlete Tadese Takele taking first place. Although the Ethiopian runner won while wearing the Adios Pro Evo 1, the similar Raf Adios Pro 4 appeared on the feet of many top-level runners as well.
While not a takedown model by any means, the fourth edition of the Adios Pro franchise delivers a number of the same design details as the more expensive, less durable Evo offering at a more accessible price. The silhouette's modified upper and reimagined sole unit work in-tandem to demonstrate the Three Stripes' commitment to sport. In comparison to other super shoes on the market, the Adios Pro 4 provides a refreshing ride that bets big on the brand's ENERGYRODS 2.0 system instead of the full-length carbon fiber plates found on most other elite-level marathon racers.
adidas Astir Maternelle Chaussures The nonreflective version of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Black training model, the Adios Pro 4 will soon be available in a clean 'adidas AGR Rain Aop Waterproof Jacket' colorway. Perfect for spring and summer racing, the LIGHTLOCK-assisted top-half keeps things relatively "colorless," setting the stage for the titular greenish tone to animate the profile 3-Stripes. The updated LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam underfoot indulges in an off white finish that injects a faux-aged look into the mix. The lightweight, reliable LIGHTTRAXION outsole doesn't detract much from the rest of the shoe, but the single piece of Continental rubber underneath the big toe brings some of the upper's 'Pulse Teal' flair underfoot.
Enjoy official ozweego of the latest from Raf Running's marathon offerings below. The 'Pulse Teal'-accented pair should hit Adidas.com by June for $250.
