Locò for the Valentino Logo

The simplicity of this bag has quickly made it a beloved bag because as much as it is simple in design, the VLogo signature detail is large enough to be attention-grabbing, and I mean that in a good way. I am happy to have a sleek and elegant bag that still has the designer touch, and this bag has it. There are different sizes, but the overall design remains the same.

These versions that offer the tone-on-tone hardware also fall into the neutral family, from black to brown to differing hues of beige and tan with pink undertones. This entire color story is demure and really delightful in its simplicity.

As for the bag itself, there is a detachable sliding chain strap and a detachable leather handle allowing for multiple ways of carrying. The magnetic closure allows for easy opening and closing, and the interior is lined with Nappa leather lining and offers one slip pocket.

The calfskin leather is smooth and durable, and the enamel tone-on-tone VLogo Signature detail is the defining emblem of this bag. Dimensions of the larger size are 10.6″ W x 5.1″ H x 2.4″ D, while those of the small size are 7.8″ W x 4.3″ H x 1.9″ D.

Tonal Romanstud

The Romanstud is a line from Valentino Garavani I am quite fond of; I own one bag myself, and this tonal version gives a more subdued look at how the update to the stud family continues for the brand.

The lambskin Nappa leather is incredibly smooth, and the tone-on-tone stitching for the argyle patterned quilted leather with the tonal maxi studs offers a new and enticing finish. The sliding chain strap and handle are detachable, allowing for different carrying, and the twist lock closure opens to show the Nappa lining, zipper, and flat pocket.

A few different variations of this bag also exist, but we focused on two shapes, one that is more of a handle bag for your grab-and-go looks and the other being the one above, which feels a bit more mainstream by design and level of wear when I see on others.

Valentino Toile Iconographe

The idea of an all-over-monogram-print typically doesn’t interest me, that is, until I found the Valentino Garavani Toile Iconographe print. And it seems I’m not the only one. The V logo print is busy enough that it more often looks like a geometric image than an over-the-top full ensemble logo, and when worn well, it is one of the most elegant looks there is. The Valentino Garavani monogram has never been chicer, from flowy pants and blouses to a more structured, thick Toile Iconographe with leather trim. And this V logo coincides with the Loco bag in a matching manner.
