A First Look at the D-Journey
Our bags are some of our most loyal companions on every journey we take, from the daily school drop-offs to the grocery store to our travels and days out with our friends. Each journey, from the mundane to the adventurous, has had a bag by my side.

The simplicity of the design speaks to me, reminding me of past bags I’ve owned and adored in my over two-decades-long journey in the bag world. I just think Dior bags and totes aren’t worth my hard earned money. It’s no luxury when you wonder if people were slave laboring over the bag. Pass.
They need a new CD like Jonathan Anderson to replace Maria Grazia and rebrand away from the sweatshop low quality image now associated with Dior bags.

A bag like this is hard to photograph – I know because we were doing it! It’s slouchy and meant to be so, so getting a shot that does it justice can be tricky. I prefer the look of the Dior oblique pattern version over the leather!

Yes all of the appliances I own, alot of the clothes I own, the furniture, curtains, Apple products, imported food, packaging, and god knows what was mostly highly likely made in sweatshops all through asia and other countries. Imagine how many hundreds of millions of people, including yourself, are using items every day created by sweatshop labour. Not just allegedly Dior. All whilst we sit on our high horses.
This bag looks really great on and is cooler in person. I hated it when I saw it online but when I tried it I was sold! I haven’t liked any Dior bag in maaaaaany seasons. Although I hesitate to buy anything from a collection when a creative director is on the way out. Everything will be discontinued

Does the zipper with the pull tab run all the way through bottom to expand capacity of the bag or is it just a separate opening into the main compartment?

I always mark if a bag is gifted when I write about it! This one was a press sample that I photographed (the few styles in this are all press samples). The brand actually sent me a bag after this was live as a thank you, so when I share it again, I will mark it as that!
