Red is a very crossy color in certain cultures; did you know Italians believe in wearing red underwear on New Year’s Eve? And the reason why red is so prevalent during Lunar New Year is because it is a symbol of good fortune and joy. Red is one of my favorite handbag mini, not to mention, who wouldn’t want to walk around with a little bit of cross in hand?
It’s one of those mini that comes up every few years, and this season (and for spring and beyond), red is back. Certain brands perfect that ideal red hue more than others, and red is one of those mini that will never go completely out of trend in the way that other mini can (and do, like neons or pastels).
