A success in Germany for the last 6 years - The Ladies' Program at the EWF

As in prior years, the 2012 EWF will have a special offering for women who are interested in fly fishing or who wish to expand their present abilities!!

Kate Blubaugh, the renowned casting instructor and author from Reno, USA, will be introducing the IWFF (International Women Fly Fishers). She will also be holding casting demonstrations specifically for women. Kate will be available to answer any questions about fly-fishing for women.

Kate will be conducting a presentation outlining the benefits of joining the International Women Fly Fishers organization.

Kate Blubaugh from Reno, Nevada, USA, is an enthusiastic fly angler and accomplished caster. In the last six years Kate Blubaugh has been invited to Europe to demonstrate and teach fly-casting to the public at several sport shows. Kate has published casting and fly-fishing related articles and has been featured in fishing articles in European and American fly-fishing magazines that include Vliegvissen &Vliegbinden, published by Vipmedia in the Netherlands.

Kate has opened the doors to fly fishing to women in her community by starting the first Reno, Nevada fly fishing club for women and recently helped found the first women fly fishing club in the Netherlands.
Kate continues to be in the position of Goodwill Ambassador for IWFF (International Women Fly Fishers), while attending fly fishing fairs in Europe. She has extended herself to women in European countries bringing women together whether it was to connect with other women in neighbouring countries or connect women in the industry. International Women Fly Fishers is an organization that encourages women to participate in the sport of fly fishing through sponsorship of the Annual International Festival of Women Fly Fishers.
