Fly tying for children and teenager

Sunday, 18 April 2010, 10 am – 4 pm

On both days, our fly-tying experts will show effective fly patterns to all interested kids and teenagers and will help them learn how the patterns are tied. Special fly-tying stations will be provided in the upper floor of the Barn.
Here you can tie flies to your heart's content and invent new patterns!

Participants: Children and young people between 6 and 16 years of age in two categories: beginners and advanced with consideration of age |
|
Conditions: Only flies which have been tied at the EWF can be entered. |
|
Registration: Directly with Theo at the tying table on the upper level of the exhibition hall |
|
How: Led by Theo with support from other fly tyers |
| Evaluation and announcement of the winners will be on Sunday at 15:00 at the tying table. |
1st Place: One fly rod (Flyfishing-Berlin)
2nd Place: One fly reel (Purón Flyreels)
3rd Place: One fly reel (Purón Flyreels)
4th Place: One complete fly-tying set (Flyfishing-Berlin)
5th Place: One fly line (Purón Flyreels)
6th-10th Places: The book "Kunstfliegen" plus a tying tool or tying material (Flyfishing-Berlin)
11th-? Places: Various tying tools and materials (Flyfishing-Berlin)
