Fly-tying for Children and Teenager

A great success in former years and, therefore, again in the program for 2010:

For our young visitors, the 2010 EWF will once again offer our traditional fly tying for kids.

On both days, our fly-tying experts will show effective fly patterns to all interested kids and teenagers and will help them learn how the patterns are tied. Special fly-tying stations will be provided in the upper floor of the Tenne.

The times for fly-tying for kids and teenagers are:

Saturday, 17 April 2010, 10 am – 5 pm

Sunday, 18 April 2010, 10 am – 4 pm

Special thanks to Theo Atanassov for organizing and coordinating the program of Fly Tying for Kids.

Casting for Children and Teenager

Children and teenagers can join Kate Blubaugh both days at the pool for fly casting. Kate will show how to use rods and reels, provide advice, and is most happy to pass on her knowledge.

Casting mit Kindern All those interested should go to Kate's stand on the ground floor of the barn
across from the snack bar. From there, you can go to the casting pool together. If she does not happen to be at her stand, she may be at the pool giving a casting demonstration or is already together with other young fly fishers. Kate has a small surprise for all who
participate.
