Plunge in again in the 5. International Experience the World of Fly Fishing. More than a 1000 photos have already been published in the 2010 galleries. Since we are continously receiving new photo material, it is worthwhile returning to these pages and looking for changes and updates.

The 3rd German Open Fly-Tying Championship
It is our pleasure to announce the Winners of the 3rd German Fly-Tying Championship!!!
It is our pleasure to announce that the 3rd German Fly-Tying Championship was again very popular with 90 entries from 5 countries. Unusual patterns with new, innovative tying techniques were submitted. Our thanks to the participants!!
We are very pleased that we can present the jury members.
After the great success of the First and the Second Championship, the Third Open German Fly-Tying Championship will take place at the 2010 EWF.
The Official Opening of the 5th International Experience the World of Fly Fishing
For the official opening of the 2010 Experience the World of Fly Fishing, we will be honored by the presence of Mayor Sepp Kellerer, Eberhard Roese, President of the Bavarian Fishing Club, and Christian Schmidt-Hamkens, General Manager of the JAHR TOP SPECIAL VERLAG. Their welcoming words will open the show on Saturday April 17 at 10:30.
Of special note at the EWF Show this year is Bruce Richards workshop

The Whisky Corner - 2nd Special Edition for the 2010 EWF

The second edition of whisky specially drawn for the EWF is a 13-year old Dalmore from the northern highlands of Scotland. For this edition, we brought a Franconian Domina wine barrel to Scotland so that the whisky could age further in it for several months. The fly which we chose, the "Sir Herbert," was again wonderfully tied this year by Jörg Schuft. The tying instructions for the fly are on the back label of the bottle. A total of twenty-five 0.7 liter bottles were filled with the 92 proof whisky and cost €49.90 per bottle. |

Sweepstakes at the 2010 EWF!

The Whisky Corner - again at the EWF 2010!
Do you like whisky (whiskey)? We have just the thing for you! Come to the upper level of the barn where Paul Sebastien awaits you with his Whisky Bar. There you can find a number of Scotch whiskies and Irish whiskeys to choose from, test, and discuss. Check through his assortment and ask his advice!
Gabi's Fish Kitchen - again at the EWF 2010!
Gabriele Rauch filets the "scaly beasts" and prepares quick fish treats and you can sample the results. She will explain and demonstrate tricks and tips from her many years of experience. Visit Gabi Rauch on the upper level of the barn.
Fishing's Leather Expert
The expert offers products he makes: Angler accessories such as a waterproof, very durable fishing vest made of leather.
Types of leather: sturgeon, salmon, tilapi, ostrich, snake, buffalo, etc.

Casting Coordinator for the EWF 2010
We are happy to welcome, to the 2010 EWF, Juergen Friesenhahn, the Master Casting Instructor. As Casting Coordinator, he will introduce the casters as well as coordinate and be the moderator for the casting program. He will accompany the English-speaking casters and translate for them into German.
FFF - Federation of Fly Fishers
Once again, internationally known members of the Casting Board of Governors of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) will be present at the the EWF to provide certifications, casting demonstrations, and workshops. They will also have a booth at the 2010 EWF to answer questions and for personal consultation.
