1967 - Establishment of the Hebeisen Fly-Fishing School. 1969 - World Record in Single-Handed Fly Casting: 62.73 meters. Towards the end of the 1970s and at the beginning of the 1980s, many fly-fishing hours together with Hans Gebetsroither, Walter Hitzenberger, and Walter Brunner. 1977 to 1982 - Together with Hans Gebetsroither, Walter Brunner, and Sepp Prager, many international fly-fishing courses in St. Moritz, Switzerland as part of the Hebeisen Fly-Fishing School and 6 masters' courses with Hans Gebetsroither in Gmunden, Austria. |

1983 - The first educational film (The Spectrum) of the Hebeisen Fly-Fishing School together with Heidi Hebeisen, Heinz Ryffel, Walter Brunner, and Sepp Prager. 1985 - Two additional educational films (with HRH): Fly Fishing for Beginners I and II. 1986 - Met Lefty Kreh in Manchester, Vermont, and discussed various casting techniques. 1989 - Met Mel Krieger in Denver, Colorado and discussed casting techniques there and several times later. 1988 - The fourth educational film, "The Academy of Fly Fishing" was produced and several thousand copies sold. Remains, to this day, a cult film for special and trick casting. 1990 - Met Lee Wulff in Denver and discussed various casting techniques. 1992 - My first fly-fishing book is printed and 6000 copies are sold within three months. Today, the 20,000 copies of the first two editions are sold out. A third edition in four languages is planned. 1997 - The fifth educational film "The Fascination of Fly Casting" sets a new standard in terms of the definition of casting style. 2009 - My first cookbook, "The Fascination of the Pleasures of the Table, Vol. I," is published. 2010 - My second cookbook, "The Fascination of the Pleasures of the Table, Vol. II," is published. 2010 - First appearance of the film and book "Perfect Fly Casting," the first and very important cooperative effort, concerning fly-casting techniques, with the younger generation. 2011 The small review about various casting styles, "improper" views, and about the idea that a fly rod should be handled like a hammer. |
